Who we are

HebeSec Technologies Private Limited operates hebeguard.com and decides how the personal data described here is used. We are the data controller under the GDPR and the Data Fiduciary under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

Our registered office is at Navarathina Nagar, Opp. Shri CK Mahal, Karaikudi, Tamil Nadu 630001, India. We also have an office in Malaysia at No 50, Jalan SKJ 4/4, Taman Scientex Kundang Jaya, 48020 Rawang, Selangor Darul Ehsan, Malaysia.

What we collect

• Information you send us. When you email us, for example to ask for a demo or an exposure assessment, we receive your name, email address, company, the domain you ask about and anything else you include in your message.
• Calls and WhatsApp messages. When you call or message us on WhatsApp, we receive your phone number, the name on your WhatsApp profile and the messages you send.
• Server logs. Like most websites, our web server records technical details of each request: IP address, browser type, the page requested, the referring page and the time. We use these logs to keep the site secure and working.

hebeguard.com does not use cookies, analytics tools, advertising trackers or third-party scripts, and it has no forms that send data to us. The contact buttons are plain links that open your own email app, phone or WhatsApp, so nothing reaches us until you choose to send a message or call.

How we use your data

• To reply to your questions and requests.
• To prepare and deliver demos and exposure assessments you ask for.
• To send you information about HebeGuard that you have asked to receive.
• To keep the website secure and investigate misuse.
• To meet our legal obligations.

We do not sell personal data, and we do not use it for advertising.

Legal basis

If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, we rely on our legitimate interests (answering enquiries and protecting the website), on taking steps at your request before a contract (demos and assessments), and on legal obligations where they apply.

Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, we process the data you choose to send us for the purpose you sent it for, and on your consent where the Act requires it. You can withdraw consent at any time by emailing us; this does not affect processing that has already taken place.

Who we share it with

• Service providers that host this website and run our email, who process data only on our instructions.
• WhatsApp (Meta), if you choose to contact us on WhatsApp. WhatsApp handles your messages under its own privacy policy.
• Professional advisers such as lawyers and auditors, under a duty of confidentiality.
• Authorities, when the law requires us to disclose data.
• A buyer or successor if our business is sold or merged, who must continue to protect your data in line with this policy.

We do not share your personal data with third parties for their own marketing.

International transfers

We are based in India, and some of our service providers may process data in other countries. When your data moves across borders, we take steps to keep it protected, for example through contractual safeguards with those providers.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry emails and messages for as long as we need them to respond to you and to manage any business relationship that follows, and then delete them.

Server logs are kept for a limited period for security and troubleshooting, and then deleted.

Security

All traffic to hebeguard.com is encrypted with HTTPS, and access to our systems and mailboxes is limited to people who need it. No system is completely secure, but we work to protect your data, and we will notify affected people and regulators of a breach where the law requires it.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

• access the personal data we hold about you;
• have inaccurate data corrected or completed;
• have your data erased;
• withdraw consent you have given;
• object to or restrict certain processing, and receive your data in a portable format (EEA and UK);
• nominate another person to exercise your rights if you die or become incapacitated (India);
• complain to a regulator, such as your local data protection authority or the Data Protection Board of India.

To use any of these rights, email sales@hebesec.com. We may need to confirm your identity first, and we will respond within the time the law allows.

Grievance Officer

If you have a concern about how we handle your personal data, contact our Grievance Officer at sales@hebesec.com or by post at our registered office. We will acknowledge your complaint and respond within the time required by applicable law.

Children

hebeguard.com is meant for businesses and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18.

This site links to other websites and services, such as LinkedIn, Instagram, WhatsApp and hebesec.com. Their own privacy policies apply when you use them.

If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page. For significant changes, we will also add a notice here.
